HARMLESS FOR THE SKIN
Ökotex-certified skin-friendly printing or dyeing
Tencel TM Lyocell fibers are naturally smooth to the touch and enhance the quality of fabrics to glide lightly over your skin.
Tencel fibres are polyvalent and robust, they are among the most resistant in their class.
Through moisture management, TENCEL™ Lyocell fibers absorb moisture efficiently, as measured by the Vapor Uptake test and Water Retention Value. In comparison to polyester and synthetics, there is less available moisture formed on the surface of the fiber for bacteria to grow. Consequently, TENCEL™ Lyocell fibers provide a less favorable environment for bacterial growth, offering better hygienic qualities.
TENCEL™ Lyocell fibers support body temperature regulating properties through their moisture management. Derived from natural material, the microscopic fibrils of cellulosic fibers are structured to regulate the absorption and release of moisture, contributing to fabric breathability that supports the body’s natural thermal regulation.
100% VISCOSE JOGGING
Cleaning at 30°C inside out, preferably with a gentle program with low spin to avoid creases. No bleaching. No tumble dryer as it may shrink the material, air drying is recommended. Eco-responsible manufacturing methods and choice of materials
It all starts with the raw material viscose, which is produced by our supplier Lenzing. It is THE ecological and sustainable material par excellence!
Sustainable raw material production
Produced from wood pulp that comes from sustainably managed forests and are under FSC or PEFC control. Certified with the EU 'Ecolabel', a label of environmental excellence for products that meet high environmental standards throughout their life cycle: from raw material extraction to production, distribution and waste treatment.
Our system of pre-ordering reduces our stock and overproduction, thus hardly any waste is generated during the whole production process.
Environmentally responsible certified production
During the processing of the wood pulp 99% of the chemicals and water are recovered. This makes it a truly ecological material..
The Lyocell is biodegradable and the cotton seams leave no "microplastic" in nature. We do not use iron-on tape made of synthetic fibre (polyester) to reinforce collars, cuffs, etc.
Transparent supply chain
The fibers are identified and certified by Lenzing in the end product via a "Branding Service".
Local supply chain with a reduced carbon footprint.
Reduction of pollution
Viscose fabric means that no synthetic materials based on mineral oil are used, which are extremely harmful to the environment. Viscose degrades easily and therefore does not pollute soil or oceans.
Viscose is biodegradable, cotton seams do not leave any "micro plastic" in nature. For this reason we do not use synthetic fibre (polyester) iron-on tape to reinforce collars, wrists bands etc.
Local supply with a positive CO2 balance.
Our pre-order system limits stocks and therefore waste throughout the manufacturing process.
