Environmental Health Charter Aatise/Pollens - Ecotoxicologist
Ecotoxicologist and toxicologist at Pollens, she created the Aatise Environmental Health Charter.
Presentation:
In both my professional and personal life, I'm convinced that attitudes won't change if we continue to blame consumers (and professionals) and point the finger at everything they do wrong.
So I have 2 golden rules: benevolence and support in taking action.
My approach with POLLENS is based on the fable of the hummingbird: "If everyone works together, our actions, however small, will have a positive impact on the environment, on our health, on our children's future, but also on ourselves, pushing us to surpass ourselves!
Career/training:
After graduating with a degree in ecotoxicology and environmental chemistry and a master's degree in environmental management, I began my career with the ATC (Association Toxicologie Chimie).
This association brings together the biggest names in French toxicology and toxicochemistry.
I worked alongside the experts in their field, and continued to train in toxicochemistry (at ATC) and environmental health (with IFSEN and WECF).
Why did you choose this course:
I've always been sensitive to environmental issues, but it was when I discovered toxicology and above all the perfection of the human body (immune system, defense mechanisms, metabolisations and elimination of toxic substances, etc.) that I became passionate about toxicology and ecotoxicology.
My job as an expert, adviser and awareness-raiser enables me to put my skills at the service of everyone, and to respond to each problem individually!
Job opportunities:
My Master's degree in ecotoxicology and environmental chemistry could lead to a career in basic research or regulatory ecotoxicology, or even as an expert ecotoxicologist in a government agency such as ANSES, EFSA...
What's your favorite aatise article. Why or why not?
I can't say I have a favorite Aatise item because I like them all (although I do tend towards the Zody butterfly-sleeve 100% Linen brick maxi dress), but what I appreciate above all is the transparency of prices and the work that goes into making quality products. The brand's commitments and values!
As far as toxicology is concerned, I don't have much to say. I took part in drawing up Aatise's health and environment charter, and although no label is affixed to the clothing labels, the commitment and seriousness are there!
