Eco-responsible and sustainable textiles that take care of you

How do we choose our fabrics?
We apply the following criteria when choosing our materials and accessories:
1) First of all we adapt the use of the garment to the choice of fabric:
A jumper must be warm, that's why we chose merino wool, for a linen T-shirt we look for the natural heat regulation and that it doesn't smell (natural anti-fungicide).
2) Human Health
Limit the health risk (see our environmental charter)
In our charter, we have determined which products are to be banned from our products or which are allowed but with restrictions to preserve your health as much as possible. You can consult the complete list in our Environmental Health Charter.
3) Traceability :
We work with producers who guarantee that our charter is respected throughout the production and processing of the raw material.
4) ENVIRONMENTAL CHOICES :
* Water consumption (cotton uses a lot of water, linen does not)
* Water pollution (we prefère production in closed tanks with recovery of 97% of the chemicals) * The use of pesticides for cultivation (cotton requires a lot of fertilisers and pesticides, flax does not).
* The use of energy for transformation.
* Energy consumption for transport (production as close as possible to Europe).
* The pollution by microfibres (synthetic fibres that do not biodegrade) of the environment (especially the aquatic space)
5) Origin of the raw materials :
As close as possible to avoid transport, if possible in France to preserve the know-how.
All our materials are of European origin.
6) Animal welfare:
We use very little material of animal origin (no leather).
7) The end of life of the garment
— Is the garment repairable?
— Is the garment biodegradable?
We use 95% of materials that are biodegradable, they are natural or artificial materials (based on cellulose).
— Is the garment recyclable?
Conclusion:
All these elements are taken into account when choosing our materials, even if some of them do not tick all the boxes at the moment

II - Our artificial fabrics
Sustainable Production of the raw material
Everything starts with the raw material, manufactured by Lenzing, our supplier. Made from wood pulp, from sustainably managed forests and controlled by certification labels. Certified with the EU 'Ecolabel', a label of environmental excellence for products that meet high environmental standards during their life cycle: from raw material extraction, production, distribution and waste disposal.

European SupplyThe supply chain is in Europe. |
The properties of Tencel/Lyocell TM
HARMLESS FOR THE SKIN |
Ökotex-certified skin-friendly printing or dyeing |
Smoothness |
Tencel TM Lyocell fibers are naturally smooth to the touch and enhance the quality of fabrics to glide lightly over your skin. |
Resistance |
Tencel fibres are polyvalent and robust, they are among the most resistant in their class. |
Hygiene |
Through moisture management, TENCEL™ Lyocell fibers absorb moisture efficiently, as measured by the Vapor Uptake test and Water Retention Value. In comparison to polyester and synthetics, there is less available moisture formed on the surface of the fiber for bacteria to grow. Consequently, TENCEL™ Lyocell fibers provide a less favorable environment for bacterial growth, offering better hygienic qualities. |
Moisture management |
TENCEL™ Lyocell fibers support body temperature regulating properties through their moisture management. Derived from natural material, the microscopic fibrils of cellulosic fibers are structured to regulate the absorption and release of moisture, contributing to fabric breathability that supports the body’s natural thermal regulation. |
